Transport Topics Radio has expanded its rebroadcast programming on SiriusXM Radio, Channel 146. 

Each week, host Dan Ronan, TT’s managing producer-multimedia/senior reporter, brings listeners up-to-date news from government, business, logistics and other sectors of the industry.

The program initially airs live on Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. ET.

The program is also rebroadcast three times each weekend. In addition to the first airing, you can hear TT Radio at the following times:

•    Saturday nights from 11 p.m. ET until Sundays at 1 a.m. ET
•    Sunday afternoons from noon-2 p.m. ET
•    Sunday nights from 9-11 p.m. ET

On our Oct. 22 show, Ronan will be joined by:

  •  Don Burnette, CEO and co-founder of Kodiak Robotics, on the new partnership Kodiak has begun with Werner Enterprises.
  •  We welcome a new voice to the program, Josh Brazil, the vice president of supply chain insights with project44, on his company’s efforts to improve supply chain tracking.

On our Oct. 15 show, Ronan was joined by:

  •  ATRI Senior Vice President Dan Murray on the new ATRI Crash Predictor report and what it means to the trucking industry regarding safety.
  • We welcome a new voice to the program, transportation consultant Paul Menig, the CEO of Business Accelerants, on the ongoing supply chain challenges. 
  • Chris Connor, the President/CEO of the American Association of Port Authorities, previews that group’s upcoming conference in Orlando. 
  •  We welcome a new voice to the program. Ted Rogers, the chief revenue Officer at Digital River, as his firm is creating a reverse logistics supply chain. 
     

On our Oct. 8 show, Ronan was joined by:

  • Florida Trucking Association President Alix Miller on the trucking industry’s contribution to the recovery and relief efforts in Florida in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian
  • It’s the peak of the harvest season in much of the nation, and the trucking industry is in full swing, moving billions in agriculture commodities. Mike Steenhoek, executive director of the Soy Transportation Coalition, joins us from Des Moines, Iowa. 
  • We welcome a new voice to the program. From A. Duie Pyle, the COO of its LTL Solutions division, John Luciani, discusses the supply chain challenges the country is facing post-pandemic.
  • We welcome another new voice to the program. From the last-mile company GoBolt, CEO and co-founder Mark Ang joins us from Toronto to discuss the growing small parcel delivery service industry and some of the challenges they face, especially as GoBolt has made a corporate decision to prioritize sustainability by building a fully electric fleet and offsetting its unavoidable carbon emissions.
     

On our Oct. 1 show, Ronan was joined by:

  • From the Association for Supply Chain Management Conference in Chicago, we speak to the CEO of that organization about where the supply chain is going into “peak season” and what improvements are needed going forward. Our guest is Abe Eshkenazi. 
  • We welcome a new voice to the program, Fred Baumann, vice president of industry strategy with o9 Solutions, on ways AI and other technologies will help improve the supply chain. 
  • The associate dean for undergraduate students at Fisher College of Business at Ohio State University, Andrea Prud'homme, on how her university is attracting more young people to careers in transportation. 
  • The executive vice president of strategy and alliances at ASCM, Douglas Kent, on how he anticipates the economy and supply chain will do in the fourth quarter.
